All the carts we offer are road-legal, easy to drive (two pedals only), and fitted with seatbelts and a roof.

How it works
Our carts are the perfect companion to your St. Mary’s adventure, and as we like to keep things straightforward from booking to exploring, here’s what to expect when you hire from us.
1. Book a cart
Choose the perfect cart for your needs, and reserve online through our booking system, or in person at our Porthmellon base.
2. Collect from Porthmellon
Pick-up your cart on the morning of your booking between 9am and 10:30am.
Once the paperwork is signed, we give you instructions, show you how the cart works, and run you through a map of the island (with local recommendations, of course).
3. Enjoy your day at your own pace
The cart is yours until 5:30pm on the last day of hire to enjoy as you please: drive around the island, stop and park up when you want, go for a walk or for a cuppatea, then hop back in when you are ready.
Requirements
- Drivers must be aged 21-80. Our insurance doesn’t cover any drivers outside of this range.
Drivers must have a full UK driving licence (held for at least 1 year). Our insurance doesn’t cover any other licence.
Carts are for full day hires only from 9am to 5:30pm, with multiple day rates available, and for use on St. Mary’s only.
